So this is my juvenile silkie, bout 2 months old. Im new to breeding but this certainly doesnt seem like a normal silkie walnut comb???

Is your silky from a hatchery? Or a mix? I wouldn't advice using it for breeding, the comb is a disqualification

Agreed, that comb would be a DQ in the show ring. But, its not an issue if you're just keeping it as a pet.

One thing I can say about that comb, its BIG. I'd be willing to guess you've probably got a little cockerel there...

Thanks guys! I bought eggs from a hobby farm so I have a suspicion it might be a mix

I have two with this comb. Frustrating! Lol
