My black cayuga laid their frist egg today, I was thrilled when I found that dark egg in the nest..........

I had no idea that Cayuga laid eggs that dark! It's beautiful and kinda creepy looking all at the same time!

My east indy ducks lay a gray egg, not near that dark, pretty gray. I have some new BEI this year, I cant wait to see what color their eggs are, if they are any darker or lighter then the ones I already have..........

My cayuga/pekin cross laid her first egg of the season today. It was marbled black and very pretty.
