Wow! You guys are full of great ideas! Happyhensny I think you may be on to something. I just needed a reason to bid on it and I think you gave it to me!

Yup, I think me and my DS have an auction to go to on March 6! I do love that Rooster lamp, too, just get sick of all the negative comments from certain unmentioned people, if you know what I mean. Gee, I'm glad I took those picts and showed them to you all! Thanks guys!

Oh, and hoofbeat - I know that rural communtites had power long ago. But even the farm I am on they used coal stoves in the turkey and chicken coops for heat. We still have the stoves in our yard. Amazing how the coops didn't go up in flames!
