That's just so darned adorable.

I've been on vacation this week and this morning spent SO much time out in the yard watching Shirley Welsummer with her 3 chicks. She keeps bringing them up to me, which makes my heart melt. She will eat out of my hand and take some of the dry rolled oats and drop them, calling the chicks. When I put my hand down lower, they mill about but won't eat from my hand, although Shirley continues to do so.

Thanks... She or he was snuggled under the roosters again last night but they were back on the roost instead of the nestbox.
