So the yolk looks deformed. Can anyone tell me if it's still good to eat or is this beginning to form a baby chicken. I don't leave eggs in coop and usually will get them refrigerated, so I can't imagine.

While odd, it is likely safe to eat. It certainly isn't the start of a chick. The embryo starts life on the outside of the yolk at the blastoderm in the form of veins and systems like eye and heart. Those eggs are also still edible.
Think balut eggs.

It is safe to eat. Maybe a double yolk and one broke. It is not a chicken forming.

Are you in a cold climate? Could of froze outside or in the refrigerator if stored near the airflow. I would eat it. GC
