havent gotten a double yolk yet, but one of my girls (Buff Orp, i think) lays softballs that dont fit in the xl containers they sell at the feed store. I luv big eggs!

I'm interested in the discussion about the double yoke making a twin. I thought the yoke was the food for the fertilized egg to live off of and the white of the egg was just the fluid it developed in.

The yolk replaces the umbilical cord for a human.
