I have two smokers, one that has a side fire box that you burn wood in and another one that is one of the cabinet type that uses wood chips and propane. I personally like the cabinet type smoker the best because it's so quick and easy to use. I can crank that thing up and have a hen on the smoker in a matter of minutes. The other one is a long drawn out involved mess that I won't use. If we have a big crowd to cook for then DH has to take over with that one.
