This could definitely be the impatience talking, but hear me out.
I placed 2 eggs in a homemade incubator. I candled them throughout the first 18 days and they're developing well.
I stopped turning and candling on day 18.
It is now day 21.
I haven't opened the incubator since day 18.
I know it's a huge no-no to touch or even open the incubator now, but I'm worried the chicks might have pipped the wrong end or worse, they're not alive...
My question is: how fast should I check the eggs? Like, how fast should I open and close the incubator?
I just want to view the eggs, not touch them of course...it's difficult to see with the humidity making moisture on the glass.
