They are using them… buuuut this morning I woke up to find the paper towels around them soaked. Oh well, I’ll reuse them in one of their adult cages overtop wire. What works for you in the brooder? I’m not sure I want to put a lid with stones in it but I might end up doing that.Congrats on the babies! Are they using those water nipples? Mine are absolutely determined not to use them until forced (around two weeks), if they are using them you are awesome, but just an fyi in case they aren’t.
I use parakeet waterers. The openings are too small for the chicks to get into.They are using them… buuuut this morning I woke up to find the paper towels around them soaked.
