Bakari leaped onto a rock and looked over the vast sea of grass looking for prey or potential dangers. Below him, four cubs played. All of the cubs were jumping around and tackling each other. Bakari spotted movement in the distance and said to his younger siblings," I will be right back. All of you need to stay here and be quiet. Ok?" The four cubs nodded, but then Badru asked,"Where are you going?" Bakari replied,"Hunting. I'll call you guys if I catch anything." They nodded again and Bakari set off towards the herd of impala. When Bakari left, Badru said," We should follow him and see if we can hunt too!" Obi and Zuri agreed with him, but Kala shook her head and said,"He said stay here. How about we just see if we can watch him hunt from the rock?" Badru sighed,"I guess," then said,"First one on top wins!" Obi said proudly,"I win!" Badru rolled his eyes and looked towards the distant heard and the small figure of Bakari.

Bakari crouched down low in the grass. He began to creep closer to the heard and targeted an impala at the back. He dashed forward as the herd noticed him and bolted. He chased after his target and hooked his paw behind its leg and tripped it. He quickly killed it and called for his younger siblings. They heard his call and raced over to him.
