8 month old silkie presents with apparent burned feet. Had been exposed to Preem (or similar named) insecticide powder designed to fight mites and lice in coops and on chickens. Only chicken to get burned. 4 weeks have passed and all burned skin is showing improvement (her top beak fell off, some toes etc but are now growing new skin).
New problem in the past week is that she appears to have developed leg atrophy? Like leg paralysis. One leg was stuck out clear up by her head. I have had a minor amount of success having her in a sling for the past three days (that leg no long sticks out). My question is how to build back this muscle (if that is the problem). All insight welcomed! Pics show the burns and the sling.
Currently giving b vitamin daily.
