Im new to casa grande, AZ and excited to raise chickens.

I first got chickens on the Big Island of Hawaii. I had 3 rhode island Reds, a fuzzy footed one that turned out to be a rooster.

My son is a chicken dad to 3 chicks. One Americana easter egg layer, one Barred rock, and a Wyandotte. It all started when my som wanted to do a science fair project and build a DIY incubator. Eventually, we picked up baby chicks from CAL market to speed up the process. He found BYC when he was researching the project over a three day period.

My favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens is watching chicken tv and their personalities.

We love swimming, playing golf, badminton, and gardening.

Other than our chickens, we have a yorkshire terrier that just turned 1. He loves watching the chickens on chicken tv.
