Looks good!
Only covering one side, right?
So lots of ventilation on the other?

Thanks! Yes, only covering the north side. South side will remain wide open. I think that should work out well. The low winter sun shines so nicely in the run. Almost the entire run will be warmed by the afternoon sun.

I agree, a bit of a wind block is all you need. If they were really cold and wanted to get out of the weather, they can go in the coop.

That conduit curtain rod is a great idea!

Thanks Finnie!! Now if we can just get the sheeting tightly on the conduit we should be good to go.

Hopefully the tape is good for 4 years too.
Will you make 'sleeves' to slide the conduit thru?

The tape is specifically designed for the greenhouse poly so I think it should be fine. Yes, my plan is to fold the poly over itself and then over the conduit. Will then use the tape to secure the folded over poly to itself to form the sleeves. I'll do that on the run so I can get a good amount of tension on the poly. Wait and see how all of that goes. Sometimes what works out perfectly in my head is a failure in real life.

Quote: Yep, then you go to 'field design'.

After reviewing lots of YouTube vids of greenhouse construction, I took a cue from what some of those folks had done to attach the poly sheeting. They were cutting 3/4" thin wall PVC lengthwise. Screwing it to the framing and using 1/2" schedule 40 PVC to snap into the 3/4 to secure the sheeting. Turns out that 1/2' thin wall PVC cut lengthwise a little less than in half snaps right over the 1/2" metal conduit that I'm using. Appears that it should work pretty well. Will also make changing out the poly super easy if that ever needs to be done.

My example pieces...

THAT is SWEET!!
Beats the hell out of tape.

I used similar system with a 1/2" pvc frame with vinyl covering......used larger (3/4?) pvc, cut in short pieces(~2") for clamps cut like that.

Didja try it with a piece of the poly?
That clamp edge can be sharp.
