Ok so I know it's a dumb ? but I'm new at this..... I'm cleaning out and found a bag of chex mix from Christmas. Do I toss it over the hill or over to the chickens??

its pretty salty if its a traditional recipe, you could feed it in very small quantities as an occasional treat. I probably wouldnt bother and would toss it, they get enough treats as it is that I feel good about. Got a leftover pot of kidney beans and frozen corn, some sprouted wheat grass and some grapes we found too sour...they are stuffed with good healthy treats

anything see this chicken can eat pop corn just kidding!

Don't think it would hurt them as a one time thing but I have had the same debate with similar cracker-type stuff and decided it was just too much salt for them.

It would be a bit salty all at once, but I would just mix a little in each time you mix them up other treats. Mix a little in at a time with scrambled egg here and there.
