I had 25 Red Ranger chics delivered today. One can't move; I would guess it has a broken leg or somehow got injured during the shipment. It will chirp and occasionally try to get up. I have it in a small box in the corner of the brooder. What should I do?

A picture would help.
Are his legs going outward? Is one of his legs being dragged behind him?

Definitaly keep him seperated for now and be sure he is eating and drinking. It also wouldn't be a bad idea to put marbles or small rocks in the bottom of his waterer to prevent him from drowing since he isn't very mobile.

I've heard about using splints to help with a broken leg. I agree with the marbles idea. Even a mobile chick can sometimes have accidents in the waterer!
