Chicagoland- six month female pekin house duck

I actually have a friend that had his duck ducks attacked (around 4 or 5 months) and his pekin was killed. His other one is still alive (not sure on the type, just that it's domestic), but he's not sure if his living duck is a boy or a girl. From the questions I asked it sounds like it's a boy :- (

I'm sorry for your friends loss. That is terrible! If the surviving duck turns out to be a girl let me know I would be interested in adding it to my flock.

I will! It sounds like the duck that got hurt was the loud quacker, while this one is quiet and squeaky. I haven't seen it in person but if it is a girl I will definitely bring you up again and let you know.

I did tell him there can be a home if it is a girl in Waukesha :- )
