We were wondering, what is the correct consistency/color for chicken poop?

Some of our birds are releasing very light brown/ almost red liquid like poop and some are releasing green brown clumps.

One of our Ausralorps had yellow poop stuck to her, she is also our only bird refusing to roost. She prefers to sleep in the bedding.

Any advice?

Chickens have a wide range of "normal" poop, cecal poops are often a liquid reddish/brown, here is a nice chart with pictures of various poops http://chat.allotment-garden.org/?topic=17568.0 With the hen with the yellow poop, if she is not feeling well, you might want to post in the Emergencies forum about her. Do you know if she is laying eggs? Hens that are laying shell less eggs are prone to peritonitis and internal laying and their poop is sometimes yellow from the yolks.

She was laying eggs fine. We haven't had any from her in a few days.

Oh that's too bad, I'm sorry :(

bright yellow foamy poops and bloody poops can be a sign of coccidiosis....are any of your other birds ill?

No the other three are completely normal, perfect poop. We suspect vent gleet, that we just caught it too late, and she got too weak.
