chick and ducks

so i have raied chicks and ducks togerther before and i have three ducks all laying age i also have 7 chicken eggs hatching the 14th but mabey i will go to the feed store the 15th and grab two chick to raise all togher i know ducks need freinds but i dont want 2 more ( messy) could i get one and raise it with the chicks
also i dont mind if he imprits on me

The potential problem that I see is that if the duck imprints on chickens and happens to be a drake he will most likely want to breed the chickens.

Thanks for the tag, though I do not know much about ducks. I have only heard from others, that ideally they should not be raised with chickens.

Thanks I’ve always raise ducks with checks but just never only one dark and I don’t know if it could be done I just make sure you have a big space and a lot of water with them but one of my feed stores have some really cute ducklings so I might do it but I don’t know
