Just put some zip ties on 4 to 6 week chicks and are verg interested and pecking should i remove and try when older? Do not want any bloody feet

Yes. Maybe wait 'til they are 3 or 4 months.

Just keep an eye on them.. once they start looking too snug.. snip them off and put new ones on.

what are zip ties and what are you talking about? is this something i need to do? i have 3 wk old chicks right now thanks

Some people use zip ties to identify their chicks. I personally do not use them as i find they can be dangerous,they may become too tight and cut off circulation or come undone and chick may eat them. Just my personal opinion,each to their own.

Well they settled down later that night and so I left them on. They seem fine now. We play with them daily so we will be sure to check for tightness on the bands each day. Thanks for all the info!
