I was cleaning out the chicks brooder this evening as my daughter was getting them out one pooped on ones back. she had my wife clean it off but it was a little runny and with the chick fuzz and new feathers it was a mess. So they wash it off and was concerned it would get cold so I said take a blow drier on low heat and dry it off. Well the chick loved it, it loved it so much she just went to sleep as my wife dried away. Now if we need to ge a chick to sleep were going to bring out the blowdrier.
One of my barred rocks kept getting pasty butt and so I finally took her to the bathroom sink and gave her butt a bath. She LOVED it! Then I wrapped her heiny in a washcloth to dry and she just layed there cool and content. I can't say I really blame her though!
