Brooder dust bath ideas?

Haha I feel you there I went through 3 huge boxes of the puppy pads as well for my 11 chicks! Now I'm far more blase about it and just putting new ones on top of the gross old ones 😂 hoping to get them back on the hemp bedding tomorrow now that the sneezing resolved itself, since I already have so much of it and would feel wasteful to just toss it brand new in the compost pile. And like @kattabelly said luckily I'm only a couple more weeks from being able to boot them out to the coop haha!
Yeah trying to move so many babies to a box or wherever to change all the pads is not fun, lol.

I'm hoping to get these outside by the time they're 4 weeks old, so 3 more weeks. But I'll have to watch the weather. Fall here can be so hit or miss.

My cat graciously donated her soft sided zip up cat carrier for them to occupy while I'm cleaning 😂 its a great way to check for poopy butts though since you're moving them one by one, its easier for me to make sure I didnt miss anyone that way.

And yeah same I'm in NH, the weather turns pretty quick here, some years its already snowing by now some years its in the 50s during the day, October is all over the place usually but we won't see over 55 again till the spring for sure already at this point.

Lol I use a cat carrier too when I need to move them around. It definitely does make butt checks easier. Of my 14, 2 are partridge and 3 are (I think) black. One I think is white, but it and all the rest (buffs and reds) still look very, very similar. If never know who I checked and who I didn't if they weren't pulled out.

I'm in AL. We may very well see 70 again before Thanksgiving. Then we might see a frost. If you don't like the weather, wait a minute, lol.
