Chick bedding

Hi guys, I am getting ready to pop my chicks in the brooder and was worried about the bedding. I am currently using Corn Cobs, is that okay.

if the ground cobs are not to big for the chicks feet, it will be fine but if they are like mountians, i would use something different. I use pine shavings.
