Hi everyone,
We had a broody hen secretly incubate an egg which he believe belongs to one of our light Sussex hens, with the dad being our blue partridge* pekin cockerel. It’s currently hatching right now so I thought I’d do a little competition… guess the colour
I’ll attach pictures of the hen and cockerel and you guys can reply with an image of a chick (or adult chicken) that you think the chick will end up looking like. Or, if you’d like, you could use a template and instead manually create a potential offspring colouration.
I’ll make a wee drawing of one of your hens if you come closest to what colour the chick is.
Good luck!!
*I THINK the cockerel is blue partridge… feel free to correct me if I’m wrong. He’s a bit of a mutt himself.
