i have 9 babies that are 10 days old. is all the flying/running at each other just trying to decide the pecking order? is it any indication of sex? they all are doing it to some degree. i think i have 3 girls 6 boys

im new to chickens, but mine did it all the time... but now that they are 2 months old, the roo's still do it, but the hens are more docile... its fun to watch though

yup it is super fun to watch. hubby thinks i'm nuts because i spend so much time staring at them

It's called chicken TV. It's the best thing on.

They are just being children playing and burning off energy. It is too early to tell the sex by behavior. They're just having fun. Enjoy it!

I get caught up watching them all the time. I have to kick myself sometimes because I forget I have children!

I used to do that too. Now I just take the children with me to watch. I have them hooked too.
