Chick Born with PIN FEATHERS???

I have a chick that hatched last night and has been in the empty, warm, incubator for a while. I noticed it was a little spraddled so i took him/her out to band-aid the legs and, on the wings, saw PIN FEATHERS!!!

What the heck??

Has anyone else seen/had this happen before? Pin feathers on a new baby??

Some breeds can be sexed as day olds by the pin feathers on the wings.

I think it's just an EE/cochin mutt. thats only with purebreds right?
