Got this little guy? as a mystery chick from McMurry last week. Looked through Google threads trying to identify. He had a green feather coming down from the center of the bottom of his beak, he has five toes, and he has a black dot on top of his head.

He is the smallest of the 7 and Red Stars pick on him. Had to separate with the other male for a few days cause he had trouble getting up when the girls ran him over.

Doing much better now.

With the orange/yellow legs, fifth toe, coloring and what looks like a small crest-this little guy (or gal) appears to be a Mottled Houdan.

Ok. I'll look that one up again. Thought it was similar, but dismissed it since I thought crest would be more noticeable.

Thanks!

The chick pic on Cackle Hatchery look just like him/her. Thought the dot on head meant male, but apparently not in this breed. Fancy Pants!
