Chick can’t get off back

I have a chick that hatched in an incubator yesterday. It laid on its back forever after hatching, kicking its legs but
 
When a chick does that, I turn them over and then see if they can stand. Sometimes it is neurological and other times it is Spraddle leg.

If it is Spraddle leg, they get a splint ASAP. If it is something else, they get vitamins.

I hope the chick made it!

It did! I actually put it in a glass every hour off and on for about a day and it finally got strong (and straight) enough to stand upright on its own! I need to get a new picture of the beautiful little thing!

That is good news!

I have found that using a brooder plate will help with leg issues too. They push up onto the brooder plate when they are cold and that seems to strengthen their legs
