Canary, as in snitch... not the songbird...
I've been giving my chicks daily treats, sometimes meal worms, sometimes just crumbles out of my hand. More for human interaction than nutrition in hopes they aren't complete lunatics when they reach adult hood. Anyway, it's been entertaining when one grabs a treat and rather than eating it in peace; snitches on him/herself and announces to the world that he has a treat and then is subsequently mobbed by the others. Is this something that continues into older chicks/chickens, or do they eventually learn to just shut up and eat?
