After only six days in isolation, she only had gotten worse. She could only barely get to her feed and water, which were at ground level. She barely moved, and when she did, it was jerky and she used her wings a lot. So today I got her out to see how she did on open ground and it was just sad to see. Her rear feathers were coated in excrement because she couldn’t raise up. I decided to euthanize her using the “broomstick” method, which was easy, and quick. My first culling. I did not really want to pay for a test.
I’ve now sanitized all the objects she came into contact with. All her coopmates are the same age and none of them appear to have any similar symptoms or other issues so far.
