Hello!

I have two 2 week old chicks currently in a aged with their mum. When can they go in the coop with my 3 chickens and roo?

If mama is the very protective type, I would say it's okay. If she isn't, I would wait for the chicks to be older - 2 week olds would not stand a chance against older birds.

Hello and welcome to BYC - glad that you have joined us. You may wish to post on the "broody hen" thread, but if the chicks were hatched in the coop, there should be few problems. I hatch in the coop and let momma and chicks do their thing from day 1 (although i certainly did not with my first few hatches). From my experience, the flock tends to ignore them and momma makes sure they do not get too close.

If your hen is a good, protective mom, they should be fine with the rest of the flock.
