Chick-cicles?

As I was eating my Italian ice in my chicken pen, my girls made me feel guilty. It is very hot, and they don't seem to like the little, tiny pool I made them. Anyway, I began to wonder if I gave them frozen cherries or something, if they would eat them and cool off a bit.

Frozen fruit is a good treat for them, as long as its not super rock hard, they seem to lose interest if they can't actully eat it lol Frozen peas and corn too

I forgot to add, frozen applesauce and frozen yogurt. (Frozen in ice cube trays) A big hit with my dogs (and I am sure the chickens would love it too) is mixing a can of tuna in with a cup of yogurt and freezing it.
