I have a BLRW chick that I don't know if the comb is rose. I'm new to BLRW chicks. I am not sure what it looks like.

I hatched it from my birds. I have bantam mixes and perbreed BLRW's. When I set them I thought most would be perbread. But the perbreeds were with my bantams for a while before they were separated.

What bantam Roos do you have? A 'sperm' can reside in the hen for about a month from what a friend of mine has learned. So if you want pure BLRW, you need to keep the hens separated from the mixed for at least a month before putting a BLRW Roo to their enclosure. The chicks is a cutie and will be interesting to see it when it's grown.

My mane bantam roo is Jasper. He is a mix of D'anvers, possibly D'uccle and easter egger. My D'anvers looking hen had leg feathers and a pea comb.

The other roo that might of been is a Colombian wyandotte, production red, and partrige cochin mix. Possibly having easter egger, D'anvers, and old english game in there too.
