I've noticed people saying chick mash. The stuff I bought is chick starter but more of a crumble, would I need to crush it a bit for the first few days?

I too have been confused by this :idunno

If you have chick starter crumble they should be fine on it, I have always just used chick starter even with quail And they are tiny and managed fine with it.
A mash to me would mean more of a soaked feed, not sure if this right so hopefully some one will chip in with an answer for us.
