Chick cut vent?

My 4 day old chick has a cut vent. It's not serious. Should I just let it be? He's doing fine every other way

it's a little puffy. Again, he is doing great .

I don't know. I just noticed it. It doesn't seem to be hurting hi.

As long as no fluid is coming out, I would let it be. I would watch carefully and the 1st second another chick pecks her, separate it. It's hard to separate chicks because they want to be together & most people only have one brooder set up. But, once they start picking, it won't stop.

You could also put some Vetricyn on it. That would aid in healing as well as keep the others from pecking.
