chick days

In my TSC all the Bantams are not sexed, so make sure you know what to do with the extra cockerels. All of the Bantam cockerels I got from TSC are in a Batchelor coop now and get along well.

The TSC employees didn't know what breeds I got, so I'm going to assume that yours won't either. Just post pictures on the what breed or gender fourm and find out there. I got mostly old English Game Bantams, red Pyles, silver duckwings and a lavender. One silkie, one black tailed white Japanese bantam, one minorca, two porcelain d'uccles and what I believe was a cochin who died within the first few days.

Some breeds are easily recognized, like Silkies who have extra toes.

I can't wait for chick days to start! I think I'll stick to sexed chicks next time! :gig

For the sake of my heart breaking and not waiting to get rid of the roos once you’re attached I’m with you! Stick to sexed ones. But all the super cute ones are always straight run :barnie
