Chick Dehydrated?

We got three blue orpingtons at least eight weeks ago on Easter the.
Names are Pandora, Winry and Kyoko, Kyoko is (we think) dehydrated. She is laying in the back corner of their little coop (not with the big hens) she doesn't react when you pick her up (her legs are slack) she doesn't fight when we dip her beak into water and she doesn't peep for her sisters when separated from them. It been getting really hot (in the 100's) so we think it's dehydration. Please help?

On a side note we will be bringing her into the house soon

100 + can kill chickens whether dehydrated or not. Names notwithstanding, what breed is she?

Give her a cool bath, dry her off and put her in a cage in the coolest part of your house.
If she recovers, keep her in a cool space for at least 4 days. I returned a hen to her flock that seemed to recover from overheating after about 36 hours and she was dead the next day. I believe if I had kept her in a cooler space for a few more days, she'd still be alive.

Will they lay next to ice bottles if laid around the floor and a fan running? It sucks that I'm at work and can't monitor them. I have been asking hubs for extra holes in the wall with wire but he's been too busy with everything else. i'm ready to take a sawzall and do it myself!

Get the sawzall out.
Chickens are not indoor animals. We only keep them in coops to protect them from predators. They need big ventilation as much as they need food and water.

We have a fan on them and we make sure three items a day if both them and the big hens have access to water. I will suggest to my mom the ice water bottles.

Yes. We have them covered in two shade clothes

If the shade cloth is low, it can still be very hot under it. High shade like shade trees is a good way to go. Have you measured the temperature under the shade cloth at midday on a clear day?
