Chick drinks but won't eat

I have a 5 day old chick that I originally thought was blind, but now I'm not so sure. It wouldn't eat or drink for the first few days after hatching, but it finally started drinking around day 3. I've tried everything I can think of to get it to eat. I put some yolk in a syringe, and it refused to swallow it. All the other chicks are 3 times its size by now. Quite honestly I don't know how it's even alive. I know it's probably a lost cause, but does anyone have any ideas?

Keep in mind I am a total novice here, but... I wonder how the chick would react if you tried to feed it a spider or some other small bug? Something moving that could get it excited about chasing it?? It is the only thing I can think of. Poor baby!

I just found it dead in the brooder. I had grown really attached to it because of how much time I spent trying to keep it alive.

I am so sorry that happened. Not everything that hatches will thrive. Sometimes, they just weren't wired right. you did your best.
