Chick experiment day

Well, I put my 4 day duckling in with my week and a half old chicks, and also put 6 and half week chicks in with my big hens...

Minimal pecking going on in both places, so far. Think the little guys will let the duck stay, but the big coop is still debateable.

wait until they get bigger. I have Brendas muscovies (born 4/27) in with chicks that were born 4/1 and 4/21 and the ducks can put the chickens head into their bills if they feel like it. This only happens in te morning hen i fill the trough with food and they are in a hurry to get to the food.But usually they get along well. Except the ducks are super messy drinkers.
