Chick eye infection

One of my chicks seems to have an eye infection. It's swollen and has pus on top of the eye that I can't get, as well as pus in the eyelid which I can easily squeeze out. She doesn't have nasal discharge or foaming, and her breathing seems to be fine.

I think she might have gotten something stuck in her eye that caused the initial infection, since swelling and pus are the only symptoms. I've tried flushing the eye with saline, but it doesn't seem to help much. I've also ordered terrimycin to help get rid of the infection. What else can I do to treat her eye infection? Is there a way that I can get the pus on her eye out? It seems to be under the 2nd eyelid, as well as in the main one. However, the only one I can get is the pus that's filled her main eyelid. I haven't been able to remove the pus stuck in her 2nd eyelid.

My friend's hen had one eye swollen last year. What worked for us was flushing the eye with Bausch and Lomb.

Also since both her eyes are swollen make sure she is eating & drinking. Best of luck treating her!

Actually, it's just the left eye. The other one is fine. Just flushing the eye hasn't gotten the stubborn bit of pus out. It won't come out when I squeeze it either. I'm pretty sure she's eating and drinking. She used the restroom on me twice today.
