Hello I have a chick that hatched yesterday afternoon, took a while to hatch and came out side ways... It cannot stand, constantly falls backwards and to the left, possibly head turned to the left too Where is lays on its back cheeping VERY loudly. When trying to move thier little legs fly around all over the place, it also appears to breath quite heavily and possibly makes a ticking noise? I have tried vit b1 but it just doesn't want to drink... Does anyone have any ideas? Please help its adorable and I don't want to loose it!

B1 won't do anything.
What you are likely seeing is Encephalomalacia (crazy chick disease) caused by a vitamin E deficiency. Get some Poultry Nutri Drench from a local feed store. Get a 1cc syringe too since the dropper that comes with it is messy and clumsy. Feed one drop to the bird 2x daily until you see improvement. If the bird isn't drinking on it's own, get some vitamins-electrolytes like Sav-A-Chick and start using it in the water. You can also use the syringe to give that orally.

Here's a link about the disease:

Do I need to tray and prevent it from falling over, what about wrapping it up? Thank you for your help!

I think the best thing would be to use soft, non-snagging cloth on the floor of the area you keep the bird. Provide a lamp for warmth, between 95-90 degrees. Assist the bird with eating and drinking. The longer you wait to treat the bird, the greater the possibility of permanent brain damage. Keep us posted.
