Has anyone ever had a problem with their chicks wing feather being so big compared to there body my Phoenix chicks wings r quit bigger than their atm and I'm wondering is that just something that happens or is it something else
I think it could be the meal cause I started them on one third adult meal half chick starter and one thirds greens (cut up left over greens) which they love
Any advise is appreciated
Thanx

Chicks should really be on just chick feed until they start laying. The adult feed can be detrimental to their development.

Good plan. Its possible that they are getting an imballance of vitamins and minerals from the adult feed. Causing their feathers to grow at an uneven rate as their bones and muscles.

Ok I'll do that I only put them on 1 third adult is because a breeder told me i should do it very early on to help them digest better but I'm starting to dought that now lol

Never heard that before. Sounds like bad advise to me.
