chick feed/chicken feed

I should e getting my order of chicks in another 2-3 weeks. they will be about 3 days old when I get them. I have had some people tell me to get the medicated chick starter and some tell me not to.. they are all egg layers by the way. I was also wondering if they need added vitamins and if so, what ones and for how long? I have also read that once they start laying there are natural things you can feed them for a probiotic and natural things you can feed them to help cut down on your chances of possible worms, and still consume the eggs.
also, one more question. what are some treats and foods that chickens like other then there normal feed?

I personally use medicated feed for my chickens which are also egg layers. As far as treats there is a great chart in the learning center that has a bunch of "human" food that chickens love. Just search treat chart.
