chick feed

I've been reading several references to fermented feed. Is this better than regular chick starter feed? Is is something to supplement regular feed? I think I also how to make it yourself. I'm planning for chicks. Just waiting for the weather to get more stable. No more freezing nights. Want to feed them the best I can. Thanks Magpie

Sometimes people consider it much better. You can certainly use it as a supplement, or you can use it plainly as the sole food source.

However, using just normal feed isn't by any means a bad method of feeding your chicks.
