I was tired of the chicks making a mess with the normal chick feeder. I have an article written in profile section about how I made a feeder for my larger birds using a 5 gallon pail. I am really pleased with how clean and little feed waste there is using it so I decided to do the same for the chicks.
I used 2" 90° fittings this time for the little chicks and was able to get 8 feeding stations around the 5 Gallon bucket. It did not take long for them to figure out how to use it. Now not nearly the amount of feed on the floor!!!

How old are the chicks?
I use the large version for my big girls and made a 2 gallon bucket with four 2 inch ports. I figure they should be able to use it at 2 weeks.

For the first 2 weeks, I made a hopefully no waste feeder with a chick feeder red base. I got the idea from a thread I found on here, doing a no waste chick feeder search. I'll get to try it out later this week when my chicks arrive. I used a 3 inch to 2 inch adapter instead of the 4" to 2".
