So this morning I went to town and bought 20 Golden and Silver Laced Wyandotte 2 week old chicks at the Final Chick day for 2011. I didn't mean to but somehow I ended up spending $51... I am not sure how. lol I come home and am getting the brooder ready and found a stash of eggs. REALLY? Found 7 Rouen eggs and several mixed Chicken eggs...ended up with 18 eggs. So now my bator is warming up.
Didn't plan on any of this! If any of them hatch they should be really interesting to look at. I have 3 roosters: a black silkie, a buff orphington, and a black/gold Cochin/?? rooster. My hens are: BR, RIR, Brown Leghorn, BSL, Red Stars, Indian Rivers, and some EE's. hmmm.
