chick fights

is it normal for 4 week old chicks to run up to eachother and do a small fight, then stop and act like nothing happened? ever since they've got their feathers coming in they've been a bit flighty and more active. are they just establishing a pecking order on whos in charge between themselves?

I think it's just play, only the very aggressive game breeds really fight that young.
