LOL!! Very smart chick!

Most of ours will be for eggs a few for meat and if I get a few roos I will have to pic my fav and use the rest for meat.

It is. Just don't handle them roughly. But if you are wanting tame birds then defiantly handle and tame them from the start!!

No they are too young and might get pecked to death. You can around 10-12 weeks though.

We have barred rocks, EEs, Astralorps, waynedottes, and RIR. I tried to chose calmer breeds because of the kids. Thanks for your thoughts and info!

I have meat chickens there 5 weeks old an I've had 2 die on me this week and not sure why what can I do so I don't loose anymore

I am not sure, if you post this in a new thread asking for help with your chickens and giving more info maybe you can get some good advice. We lost one of our chicks but I went and got the electrolytes to put in their water and the rest have been fine. Mine didn't have a disease, it was just the littlest and very weak.
