My chicks are about 5 weeks.I have been feeding them Medicated chik started and due to the bags are small and chicks are eating a lot, I have mixed with chick feeder/grower by Dunmor. Just noticed that Medicated food with Amprolium said not to feed chicks Amprolium feed with Benonite which the Dunmor feed contains, is this very bad and why?

amprolium. Bentonite impairs the
chemical availability but not the biological
efficacy and lignin sulfonates
may affect the stability of amprolium.
Certain coccidial strains have appeared
that are not sensitive to amprolium.
