He is a boy. First of all, at that age the female chicks are red. He is pretty much white. His feathers are uneven, huge feet, big belly, etc..

Maybe you could name him Popeye

That is an excellent name....he does look like a Flash Gordon, especially in that side view pic...if Flash Gordon was a chick anyway!! CUTE!
