I THOUGHT I had removed all possible nail problems when I had moved in the new coop, but my high-flying WL flew up about 6 feet and caught her neck on a nail.
She doesn't seem to be doing to bad, she has dried blood her neck feathers, but she is acting normal. None of the other chicks are pecking on her and I don't know if I should seclude her or not, that may be really really stressful on her. It was a rusty nail. Should I put anything on her? (I don't have blukote.) Are chickens susceptible to Tetanus?
